
The Washington, D.C. Programs of Washington University in St. Louis offer students and faculty of Washington University the opportunity to expand the resources available for their education, teaching, and research. At the same time, the Washington, D.C. Programs expands the resources available to organizations in Washington, D.C. by making more accessible the knowledge, talents, and skills of the Washington University community. Whether an organization seeks interns, permanent employees, or experts to assist them, the students and faculty of Washington University have much to offer. The Washington, D.C. Programs serve as the place where Washington University in St. Louis and Washington, D.C. meet for their mutual benefit.
With a collaborative agreement already in place between Washington University and the Brookings Institution, and the Olin Business School managing the Brookings Executive Education Program, our newest effort to link the Danforth Campus and Washington, D.C. is our academic program for law students, master’s students and undergraduates. Building on the very successful Administrative and Congressional Law Clinic which has sent law students to Washington for many years, the new program offers undergraduates and master’s students as well the opportunity to study and intern in Washington, D.C. for a semester. With programs in the fall, spring and summer, and participation open to students in all Schools, we aim to provide opportunities for all students to complement their Danforth campus education with a combination of coursework and internships in this most exciting city.
